The cracked windshield of my older car was replaced with an aftermarket windshield. The new windshield leaked so much air that it was difficult to hear other sounds. Four calls were made to Safelite and each time I was told that they would reinstall the same windshield, which they did, but it made no difference. One of the repairmen said the problem was that it was aftermarket and did not fit the same as the original. A field rep said she would look for the "original clips" which would hold the window better but I never heard back from her, I spent 2 occasions waiting at home between the hours of 12 and 5 for the repairman to come and 2 times had to take it in to Satellite for repair, The last time I tried to contact the field rep but received no return call, I then spoke to my insurance agency who called Safelite and was told I should bring it in and they would reinstall the windshield. If it didn't work the first four time, it wasn't going to work the fifth time so I didn't go back. And I never will go there again.
