My first visit ended with a new windshield with a crack half way across my windshield! They told me this happens sometimes and I would have to bring it back in in a week, that they could not replace it any sooner due to the adhesive they use. So I made an appointment for a week later at 1:00pm. I brought my car in a half hour early and a 3 hour job took 5+ hours! The test drive to recalibrate it the first time was almost 60 miles. The second time they drove my car 77. 8 miles! I think this is excessive to recalibrate my Subaru! Then when I left to come home I realized my dash was covered with dirt and the windshield was smeared with dirt! Call me lucky but I expect a clean windshield from a windshield replacement business!!!! I will never take my care back to Safelite and neither will my husband! Take my advice go somewhere else if you want a professional job done on your replacement windshield!

My new windshield is great. However, I don't know if it is the practice of all Satellite glass locations or just the Grand Rapids business, but it is not appropriate for them to be in my glove compartment. Then they brought my cabin air filter to the lobby in front of all the other customers to get me to agree to have them replace it. . . a job I could do myself. They had no business being in my glove compartment or trying to sell me things other than the agreed upon windshield.

Broken side glass window

I came because I had a broken side window in my car. The woman sitting at the front desk listened to me and even without looking at what kind of a broken window it was, she made me an appointment for a few days, I waited 2 days for that appointment and the broken window kept getting bigger. When the day of my appointment came, she decided to go to my car to see what kind of a broken window it was and where it was, she didn't even notice the first day I came with this problem and then she told me that they don't fix such a broken window, and that the entire window glass needs to be replaced. Such an employee should not work in such a place! I am very dissatisfied with such service

When I brought my 2024 VW Taos in for windshield replacement the car was left dirty. I stopped over at the shop and explained the situation to the manager and he took the vehicle in the back and vacuumed and cleaned the car up. I really appreciate his attention to this problem. If a windshield repair is needed in the future, I will be going back to Safelite.

I brought my 2024 VW Taos on January 25 for a windshield replacement. I drove it home that night in the dark and didn't notice anything but today I drove it. The car was a mess. The door had mud and the baseboards were so muddy. The first time we had a replacement was fine. I understand you are trying to finish your day but this is my car and I take care of it.
