The work was done in a very efficient manner with a lot of contact letting me know exactly when he would arrive and a thorough explanation once he was done on the care of the new windshield. Would HIGHLY recommend!

Clasificada como 1 de 5 por de Worst experience I have ever had in car repair. I have had a nightmare experience working with your Topeka location. My car window was broken on a Saturday evening. I called and scheduled an appointment to get the window fixed on Sunday through your corporate line and was told multiple times that I was REQUIRED to place a card on file to even reserve my appointment spot. I reluctantly provided my debit card number but stated multiple times that I did NOT give permission for my card to be charged and that I intended to pay cash for the repair. When I came in on Monday for my reserved appointment, I found out that despite me telling the person who scheduled my appointment multiple times that my driver's side window was what needed replaced, they had ordered the wrong product and I was going to have come back again the next day. Initially, the staff was very flippant and didn't even apologize for the error. It wasn't until I started crying (it had been a rough week) that they started to act sorry. They then offered to reduce my payment as compensation after I explained that I had to take vacation time to get the car to their facility. I came back on Tuesday and brought the car. They had to install a new window motor and provided that free of charge since I'd "had so much trouble." BUT, that was completely overshadowed by the fact that later that day, I received an email that my debit card had been charged for the transaction (without my permission). Despite me telling them IN THE OFFICE and OVER THE PHONE that I wanted to pay in cash, they pulled money from my checking account, nearly overdrafting my account. I had autopay bills coming out the next day, and was told that even if they "released" the funds that they had pulled, I wouldn't get the money back for 3 days. So, I had to call my bank and beg them to stay open so I could come deposit cash to cover my bills that were coming out the next day because your staff LIED to me about the requirement of putting a card on file, and then charged my card without permission. However, I had my "fixed" car back for three days before the window started acting up - rolling up slowly, rolling up then back down again, and finally not rolling up at all. I had to call the Safelite main line THREE TIMES to get someone to schedule me an appointment. I was told the Topeka branch manager would call me, and he didn't. I had to call the main line AGAIN and they had to connect me to him. Then, they couldn't get me in for three MORE days on a mobile repair when there were scheduled thunderstorms and I don't have covered protection for my vehicle. So I scheduled ANOTHER in-store appointment, took more vacation time, only to come in this morning and have him tell me the part they ordered "just in case," which it was likely that they would need to repair the window, hadn't come in yet. However, no one called me to try to reschedule my appointment for later in the day, and I am once again sitting in your facility waiting on a part to arrive. This has been the WORST repair and customer service experience of my life as a driving, car-owning adult. I'm very disappointed and will NEVER come back to this facility.
