The title says it all. Their technician claimed that he came to my house but only called after he claims to have left. I was sitting at my dinning room table looking out the window at my driveway and front door. No one came. And it is impossible to get support. There is no possible way to talk to a human on the phone, only a terrible AI assistant that doesn't give an option to do anything of use.

Tech surly and gruff. Actually made the chips worse. There solution for me was to credit the $228 service charge against a replacement windshield. The problem here is a new Mercedes windshield will be $1,500 plus. I would suggest never use Safelite. If you still want Safelite, certainly never visit this location.

The repair process is an attempt to save the integrity of the glass. At times the repair may still be visible depending on the size (width and depth) of the chip. If at any time the repair spreads and or you are unhappy with the repair; the paying party will be reimbursed the full repair amount, if you paid for the repair out of pocket, that amount will be credited toward the full replacement of your windshield. The windshield they installed in My F-150 was a aftermarket one. It did not have the same black out patterns and was missing the large ford logo by the mirror. You can tell by looking at that it does not match the original one and does not look good. I was not told of this when i secluded the service. If I was, I would not had had them replaced it. It should be made perfectly clear that the windshield they are going to install does not match the original. I think this lowers the value of the vehicle.
