Review by CHAVAH on 28 Sep 2024review stating My own fault for trusting them...
Safelite came to repair 1 & replace another cracked windshield at our insurance company's request (I suppose it's who they have an agreement with on claims). The technician was friendly, described everything and was quick. When he came to the door to tell me he was finished I had an 7 month old in my arms, a 3 year old hanging onto my legs and my twin 6 year olds wanting to ask him a bunch of questions. He said that everything went very well. I asked a few more questions then he handed me something to sign before he left. It was unsettling because it used wording like "once you sign this Satelite is no longer responsible for repairs done". I asked why it sounded so ominous. He assured me it was standard and that everything went very well & looked great. It comes down to being my fault ultimately because I trusted him and we all went on our way. Later that day I went to get in my car. I wish I could add pictures to show the gaps all along the watertight seals and the scrapes to the paint of my car where he obviously had trouble prying the old windshield out. I finally give up - you really cannot trust any company or any worker, ever. Just fair warning... don't be like me - don't sign it!
