Windshield remove/replace was well done Safelite took care of Insurance submission etc. Also, I bit on the windshield "Rain-X" treatment and Wiper Blade (3) replacement upsell. The first time my wife drove in the rain the wiper blades fell off into the wiper well so we didn't lose them but she had to drive home during flood warnings with no wipers. Perhaps the Rain-X helped her see her way home without crashing. Extremely unhappy about the failed wiper install. In the future, I'll stick to Windshield Install only and replace the wipers myself.

Living in an urban area that requires frequent highway travel, we are unfortunately familiar with cracked windshields. Over the past forty+ years , we’ve replaced four and repaired two chips. Safelight has always done the work. And they’ve always done a fine job. Never a leak. Always neat workmanship.
This is the first time I’ve had a windshield replaced in their shop. The staff were uniformly friendly and efficient. Because my car has all sorts of cameras and sensors, they estimated three hours for the job. They finished in 90 minutes. All sensors worked fine afterwards. I highly recommend the Fairfax VA shop.

My installer was very nice. He arrived early in the scheduled window. It was super hot outside, but he didn't complain. He was quick about replacing the windshield. The only issue is that the reservation promised he would vacuum up any glass debris. There were still black rubber chunks and a few small pieces of glass in the car when he was done.
