Extremely disappointed to be told on going to pick up my car that windshield calibration could NOT be done. Safelite apparently uses a third party to perform this function and they did not have software for my new car.

I had an incredibly frustrating and unprofessional experience with the Alexandria Safelite location. On the day of my appointment, a technician called promising an update but never followed up. I tried calling the shop for 3 hours straight with no answer. I finally took an Uber to the shop, only to find it completely closed. They had locked my keys inside. Thankfully, I had remote vehicle access, or I would have been completely stranded. The manager didn't contact me until days later to explain a part was needed. Because this location completely ignores their phone lines (even corporate customer support couldn't reach them after I escalated twice), they held my physical key for a month. I finally had to show up unannounced just to get my key back, only to be told the part they ordered was wrong. Because of their incompetence, I was forced to drive with a massive, unsafe crack covering my entire windshield for a full month with zero updates. *note* if your phones don't work, NOTIFY the customers. Do NOT book your appointment here.
