It was a rough experience with Safelite. Last December we tried to get our windshield replaced - we couldn't because the windshield sent to the shop was defective. Oscar did a great job inspecting the windshield before installation. While it was frustrating that we couldn't get the windshield replaced, I was glad that he did a complete inspection and found the defect. Fast forward to February (I as out of the country for the month of January) and I made arrangements with Safelite to get the windshield replaced. Once again I made the trip to the shop only to find out that the same defective windshield that Oscar found in December was sent back to the shop. Oscar assured me that he noted that this windshield was defective - someone in the supply chain did not do their job and dispose of the defective windshield. A week later I received a phone call that the new windshield was in the shop and Oscar accomplished a complete inspection and he found no defects. After three separate trips to the Safelite shop, I now have a defect free windshield. While I am extremely frustrated that it took three trips to the shop to get the windshield replaced, I am very grateful for the thoroughness of Oscar's inspections. Well done Oscar - you are the only reason I give 5 stars and an "excellent" for quality of service!!
