Window still has rock chip hole
The title says it all. The cracks were sealed but not the hole. Technician said it was the best that could be done. The only other thing would be to replace the windshield. Reluctantly I took his word for it. Then the cracks started to reappear. I called customer service and was told that they don’t re-do repairs. I would have to get a new windshield. Makes me wonder if it was all a set up from the beginning. I’ve always received excellent work from Safelite until now.

The repair process is only an attempt to save the integrity of the glass, at times the repair may still be visible depending on the size (width and depth) of the chip. If at any time the repair spreads and or you are unhappy with the repair; that amount will be credited toward the full replacement of your windshield. Pleasant Experience.
I got a quote and scheduled on line. Had the replacement done at the facility on Decker Dr. The staff was very professional and courteous. The technician was awesome and explained the process, also informed me about the lane assist cameras. They may require recalibration but did not try to pressure or scare me.
