I was very surprised when I called my (State Farm Insurance carrier to see if my insurance covered my car windshield. My windshield cracked while I was driving on the highway when a rock hit it and made a hairline crack about 3 feet across my windshield. My insurance carrier called SafeLite to setup the appointment, and they came out and fixed the wind shield the next day free of charge.
