Leslie fixed 2 cracks on my son’s Prius windshield. Excellent communication, best price and you can’t tell where the cracks were. I was really amazed by the quality of his work. He finished faster than the estimated 1h, despite having at least 3 more clients in the shop. Impressive!

Upon arriving early for my 10 o'clock appointment set 2 weeks ago. I see the employees in the back playing football. When I walk in, a guy who i assume is the manager tells me that it can take 3 hours. Then another employee that was playing football comes and stresses again it could take 3 hours. So I say even with yall playing football? That pissed the manager off so he goes and tells the employees sarcastically what i said as well as his own colorful banter. There was additional exchange in regards to them being on break but later he returned saying he has told them not to be playing football. I say all that to say, Im the first customer in the bay and your whole team is stressing the 3 hours so it seemed as I was interrupting your game and that was going to ensure my wait would be atleast 3 hours. I was unaware that safelite pays its employees to horeseplay on company time.

The windshield repair itself was fine. I had additionally paid about $45 for a rain treatment that, on the day of service, the technician advised against because of the weather. I have been trying for over a month to have the $45 for services I did not receive refunded.
The principle is every bit as important as the $45. I have emailed and called multiple times through the provided corporate channel. Every assurance that I will be re-contacted by the manager of the Raleigh location is unfulfilled. We're now in early January '26. Service was rendered prior to Thanksgiving '25.
I cannot recommend doing business with any outfit that refuses to simply recontact a customer over an ongoing concern given that length of time to address the matter. Take your business somewhere else. Minimal effort on the part of the shop management could have resolved this. Your time and satisfaction does is evidently not valued.

I am going on my 6th visit to replace my windshield, The first time the tech botched the install and on his second visit he tried to cover it up with epoxy. 3rd visit was to access damage. 5th visit second windshield and reinstall rear view mirror housing from manufacturer due to ruining the first one with first tech. Next all safety systems not working. Finally tech came 5th appointment and now I am "approved" OEM glass but no one returns call or sets up appointments and when I call the Raleigh shop at Meridien Drive in Raleigh no one ever answers. When I try and speak with someone at Safelite it is almost impossible or no one knows what they can do next. This has been by far the worst experiience ever.
