The windshield repair started to crack after a couple of weeks. The Safelite counter representative contacted my insurance provider, credited the repair and obtained windshield replacement approval in seconds. The mobile repair was performed the next day by a very competent, professional and experienced technician. He was friendly and paid attention to detail. Worth the extra $99 to get OEM Ford (Carlite) auto glass.

New Windshield

I had my windshield replace and the installer did a good job. The only thing was he could not get the safety devices calibrated - so I had to take a day off from work to go to their shop to have that done. I would recommend that the replacement be done at their shop to avoid losing a day from work.

As far as quick and convenient goes it cannot be beat. Unfortunately I had to drop my vehicle off because it had to be calibrated. The safelite corporations direct line says this location has a drop box and they didn’t, this is nonsense and they could easily fix this. . even the lady at the desk was frustrated about this? How difficult is it to remove that note and flag it as “no drop box” or add a drop box . Why it matters , because I needed to drop it off the night prior, and absent the drop box , it messed up my schedule! It is not respectful of our time !
