My car had a cracked windshield, but the crack was smaller than the "dollar bill" size test criteria. I made a home appointment for repair, and after arriving the technician told me I really needed a n entire windshield. So a home visit was rescheduled - quickly and easily, to a convenient day/time for me. The technician who did the work arrived as scheduled, explained what he would be doing, and replaced the windshield. Technician was professional and friendly, and did a great job. Safelite handled all the insurance paperwork, and overall it was a great experience. I highly recommend Safelite for your windshield repairs!

Safelite always promotes that they will come to you, but when I put in my car details, it required me to come in. Okay, set the appointment, stated 2-3 hours for the service. All pretty easy except, this locations calibration machine kept 'malfunctioning' and they could not complete the full process by the time I had to leave which meant I had to go back the next day. Went back the next day and it still took hours. I left and realized my washer fluid/wipers were not working, had to go back. This was not the service or experience I have ever dealt with regarding Safelite. Not like I can ask for a refund because it is being charged to my insurance, but the amount of gas and time - I can't give more than 3 stars. If you could make this better, I would love to know how.
