However, the tech showed up at 1:18pm and I had to call Safelite at 12:30pm to find out what was going on. I was informed that the tech was going to be late and will show up around 12:45p-1pm.
I don’t mind the lateness ONLY if I was made aware and informed of it by the tech or someone from Safelite calling me rather than me having to call them and finding out.
Other than that, the service was great and the tech was professional in terms of repairing the windshield.
When I walked into the service center in Astoria New York… The girl at the front desk I just walked away and one of the service technicians came over and just stared at me, they were not busy, there was one person in the waiting room in the garage bays were open… Hence why my vehicle was done amazingly in one hour.
anyway, employee just stood there and looked at me until I open my mouth… He didn’t say hello, he didn’t say welcome, he didn’t smile… He just stood there and scowled at me.
I gave them my keys and when I came back in an hour to pick up my vehicle… There was a girl at the front desk and she was less than polite about that but I think your entire staff needs a lesson on business-customer etiquette.
When a customer walks in at a minimum they should be greeted with a hello and possibly something resembling a smile where it doesn’t appear that they are disgusted that you walked through the door
