Charity Spotlight: Safelite Employee Dave Hits it Out of the Park for Kids
Meet Dave E.
He’s been an Area Sales Manager for Safelite AutoGlass for 13 years in Ft. Myers.
He’s passionate about helping local charities. Recently, he coordinated with insurance agents in his community to sponsor a series of special events at the Minor League Baseball team’s field inviting beneficiaries of Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Muscular Dystrophy Association, and Oasis Charter High School to the game.
“These kids have never had the opportunity to experience a live ball game, and they loved it,” Dave shared. “Not to mention the cotton candy too!”
Dave is a proponent of companies and their employees helping those out who are less fortunate. He’s also been active in the community by contributing to local youth sports teams, giving those less fortunate the opportunity to experience an event that they otherwise would not be able to do, and donating equipment for handicapped children who otherwise would not be able to afford it.
“How does it make me feel to make a difference? Tremendous. It makes me feel thankful of what I have in my family and life in general when I’m able to give back,” Dave said.
