Safelite Group Senior Vice President Renee Cacchillo Wins Silver in 2016 Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Safelite® Group Senior Vice President Renee Cacchillo received a Silver medal in the Customer Service Leader of the Year category in the tenth annual Stevie® Awards for Sales & Customer Service.
The Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service are the world’s top sales awards, business development awards, contact center awards, and customer service awards. The Stevie Awards organizes several of the world’s leading business awards shows including the prestigious American Business AwardsSM and International Business AwardsSM.
More than 2,100 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were evaluated in this year’s competition, an increase of 11 percent over 2015. Finalists were determined by the average scores of 115 professionals worldwide acting as preliminary judges. More than 60 members of specialized judging committees determined the Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award placements from among the Finalists during final judging.
As SVP of Customer, Brand and Technology at Safelite, Cacchillo is responsible for three critical functions: 1) customer experience, 2) brand and marketing strategy, and 3) technology. Several recent key accomplishments include launching a new version of Safelite.com, accessible on the customer’s PC, tablet or smartphone. It offers reduced steps and faster functionality to obtain a price quote and schedule an appointment. Additionally, a more visual process with educational videos help customers enter the right information to ensure part accuracy while also eliminating forced bail-outs that require follow-up calls. A function was added for customers to save their quote online and return any time to schedule service through a customer portal where customers can create personal accounts to manage and track their appointment. She also launched an automated “on-my-way” text alert to customers prior to the appointment. Finally, the Net Promoter Score (NPS) online survey was also made accessible through customers’ smartphones. As a result, the number of consumers who are scheduling their appointments online has grown by 12% over last year. Results show profit improvement and NPS has increased 3 points.
