Safelite AutoGlass Opens New Shop in Myrtle Beach Providing Local Customers an In-Shop Option for Vehicle Glass Repair or Replacement
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – On August 11, 2014, Safelite AutoGlass®, the nation’s largest provider of vehicle glass repair and replacement services, opened a new shop located at 1654 Divided Loop in Myrtle Beach, SC.
The 5,000-square-foot facility with two service bays and a comfortable waiting room will allow Safelite to better serve area customers who need same-day or next-day service. Mobile appointments will continue to be an option for customers who want work completed at their home or place of business.
The new location is easily accessible from Highway 17 and centrally located for customers in Horry, Georgetown, Brunswick, and Longs Counties.
“We look forward to continuing to serve the greater Myrtle Beach community for all their auto glass repair and replacement needs,” said Safelite’s District Manager John Read. “Few people think about auto glass until they have serious damage. Small chips or cracks can easily and effectively be filled to restore the windshield’s original structural integrity and prevent further damage. It can be a safe and economical alternative to a full windshield replacement. It only takes about a half hour in our shop.”
Linda Kern serves as the store manager overseeing eight employees, including four who were recently hired to support growth thanks to the new store.
