Safelite AutoGlass® Opens New Shop in Columbus, Ga.
COLUMBUS, Ga. – May 30, 2013 - Safelite AutoGlass®, the nation’s largest provider of vehicle glass repair and replacement services, has opened a new shop located at 7806 Veterans Parkway, Columbus, Ga., 31909. This is the sixth shop in the greater Atlanta market.
Easily accessible from I-185 and Hwy 80, the 4,000-square-foot facility can stock up to 300 vehicle glass parts and can service up to four vehicles at a time. Mobile service remains an option for customer convenience.
“We are excited to open our latest Safelite® location in Columbus and continue to serve the greater Atlanta region,” said Mark Zickos, Safelite’s local general manager. “Not only can we stock more glass parts for quicker service, but the customer waiting area is large and comfortable.”
Chris Smukalla has been appointed as store manager. Opening the new shop will allow Safelite® to hire two additional employees to join six existing employees in the store.
Safelite® customers in the Columbus area and elsewhere can receive a quote or schedule service at safelite.com or by calling 1-800-800-ASAP (2727). Both in-shop and mobile vehicle glass service appointments are available from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
