Some examples of the grant winners’ usage of the funds included The Children’s Hunger Alliance’s “Healthy Kids, Healthy Schools” middle-school aged program, The Community Shelter Board’s program on reducing homelessness for Single Adults, and LifeCare Alliance’s “Meals On Wheels” initiative to serve nutritious meals to the increasing number of individuals over aged 60 living with a medical challenge or disability.

The Safelite AutoGlass Foundation was created in 2005 as the 501(c)(3) giving arm of the company aimed at supporting organizations that promote the health and well-being of families through monetary and in-kind contributions and volunteer hours. Since its inception, the Safelite AutoGlass Foundation has donated $6.6 million to non-profit organizations.
