Redlands Grand Opening with Fundraiser
REDLANDS, Calif. - Safelite AutoGlass®, the nation’s leading provider of vehicle glass repair and replacement services, has opened a store located at 560 Nevada Street. The grand opening will be celebrated on February 23, 2011, from 3:30-5:30pm, with a community fundraiser supporting the Redlands High School (RHS) Athletic Department. Safelite AutoGlass® will present a donation of $2,000 to Redlands Athletic Director Ken Morse at the event.
Morse will be the official ribbon-cutter, and local student athletes will compete in a “triathlon.” Donations will be accepted at the door for RHS Athletics and raffle tickets will be sold for over twenty items. Guests who RSVP by February 18 at tinyurl.com/redlandsHS will receive five free raffle tickets.
The grand opening is being supported by more than a dozen local businesses, with silver and gold sponsorships from Padgett’s Cleaning and Restoration.
The Redlands store will be managed by Luz Aguirre and will have seven employees. The location will greatly expand Safelite’s inventory of auto glass in the area, with 700 types of windshields, side glass, and back glass units. The location was selected because of Redlands’ business-friendly environment, excellent freeway access, and strong sense of community.
The opening of the Redlands store is a part of Safelite’s plan to improve and grow the Southern California region.
