Safelite® Solutions Analyst Earns Industry Award
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Nov. 18, 2011 – Kathy Goddard, quality assurance analyst for Safelite® Solutions, a leading property and casualty claims management provider, has once again been awarded the Outstanding Dedication Award from the Collision Industry Electronic Commerce Association (CIECA).
This is the fourth time Goddard has earned an honor from the CIECA. She previously received the Outstanding Dedication Award in 2006 and 2008 as well as the Outstanding Leadership Award in 2007.
“Kathy is a leader at Safelite® Solutions in the business communications needs of all different providers in the vehicle glass industry,” said Andy Kipker, vice president of claims management services for Safelite® Solutions. “She is able to combine the technical expertise with the business knowledge and has managed all of it with calm, diligence, intelligence and skill.”
Goddard, who joined Safelite® Solutions in 1992, has played an integral role in developing Safelite® Solutions’ own electronic billing programs. She also helped to develop the CIECA’s new XML standards for glass transactions. She is currently working to implement CIECA standards with two of Safelite’s clients.
Goddard co-chairs three CIECA committees: glass, education and architecture. She also represents Safelite® Solutions on CIECA’s board of trustees and the standard advisory board.
CIECA is made up of members of the automobile collision repair industry, including repairers, insurers, vehicle manufacturers, parts and material suppliers, information and software providers, general service providers and related segments and industries. CIECA's goals are to deliver benefits to all participants through reduced development and support costs, lower cost of implementation, reduced barrier to entry and faster development times. Through member-run committees, CIECA develops collision industry information technology standards and provides implementation guides for electronic commerce.
