Safelite Relocates to Larger Warehouse in Kansas
WICHITA, Kan. – March 2, 2012 – Safelite AutoGlass® now offers the largest vehicle glass inventory in the state of Kansas after relocating its Wichita warehouse to 8805 E. 34th Street North, Suite #103 (Zip 67226) in February. The new 25,000 square-foot facility nearly doubles square footage and inventory on stock. The warehouse also offers two service bays with the flexibility to work on four to five vehicles at a time. This allows more customers to schedule same day or next day in-shop service. Mobile service continues to be an option for customers.

The new location offers free Wi-Fi, Direct TV, complimentary bottled water, coffee and soda and activities for kids. Brian Elley serves as the location’s store manager overseeing 23 employees.
“Few people think about auto glass until they have serious damage. Chips or small cracks can easily and effectively be filled to restore the windshield’s original structural integrity and prevent further damage. It can be a safe and economical alternative to a full windshield replacement. It only takes about a half hour, and service is available in-shop or at your home/place of business,” Elley explained. “We’re also available to replace windshields, side glass and back glass, and we’re the only company in our industry to offer a national warranty on our workmanship.”
The former location, 701 E. Murdock (Zip 67214), is now effectively closed.
