Safelite Relocates Orange Co Store to Westminster
WESTMINSTER, Calif. - March 11, 2011- Safelite AutoGlass®, the nation’s leading provider of vehicle glass repair and replacement services, opened a store at 7501 Suzi Lane in Westminster in early March. The new 5,400 square-foot facility will house approximately 1,000 vehicle glass parts, enabling the company to provide same-day and convenient in-shop appointments in Orange County. Customers also will continue to have the option to schedule a mobile appointment.
The opening of the Westminster store is a part of Safelite’s plan to expand and improve service in Southern California. The company also has plans to open a second Orange County store in the Irvine area later this year. Since 2009, Safelite® has developed a number of initiatives to provide unrivaled customer service, technical quality, and same day service for Southern California customers. In addition to relocating the Orange County store, the company has also:
- opened its second-largest distribution center in Ontario, Calif., in 2009
- opened its third national contact center in Phoenix, Ariz., in 2010
- will open 10 other new locations throughout Southern California in 2011
- will relocate 3 other existing locations to improve customer visibility and waiting areas, glass storage, and employee amenities in 2011
"Moving from our small Santa Ana location to this larger, renovated location in Westminster is an exciting step toward our goal of improving customer service in the area. While we have had a presence in Orange County for many years, our team is very excited to have increased glass availability, improved time to serve, and a wonderful customer waiting area for customers," said Brad Jones, Safelite’s general manager. Vehicle glass is an important element of a car’s structural integrity, and we are happy to perform inspections to identify any risky chips or provide a quote on glass damage."
The Safelite® store will be managed by Nick Muratalla and will have an initial staff of 19 employees.
