Safelite Relocates Lafayette Shop to Larger Store
LAFAYETTE, La. – Safelite AutoGlass®, the largest provider of vehicle glass repair and replacement services in the U.S., will move its Lafayette Shop in mid-June to 207 Harold Gauthe Rd., Scott, LA 70583.
At 5,000 square feet, the shop is twice as large as the previous shop and will store five times more glass part inventory for quicker service. Located in a new industrial park, it is easily visible and accessible from Interstate 10. The customer waiting area will also feature Wi-Fi and Cable TV.
“Customer service is top-of-mind at Safelite AutoGlass®, and this brand-new facility will not only be a more pleasant place for customers to wait while their vehicle glass work is completed, but also serve as a larger storage area so we have access to parts quicker,” said Eddie Lahaie, general manager. “This will allow even more same-day or next-day service.”
James V. Rasmussen serves as the store manager overseeing a staff of eight. The new facility is expected to open June 12, 2012. Mobile service will continue to be an option as well.
