Safelite Opens New Store in Logan, Utah
LOGAN, Utah - Safelite AutoGlass®, the nation's leading vehicle glass repair and replacement company, has opened a new 2,000-square-foot store in Logan, Utah at 695 North Main Street to better serve customers in the northern part of the state.
Brandon Hoffman will serve as the store manager. He has been with the company for nearly two years. Kennan Christensen is a mobile technician for the company for one year.
Safelite® also has six additional locations in Utah, including Ogden, Layton, Salt Lake, Midvale, Provo and Saint George, and two mobile pros in Spanish Fork and Orem.
The new store is part of the company's overall growth strategy. Beginning in 2009, Safelite® invested $38 million to support growth and will make similar investments in 2010. In addition to opening the new store, the company has also:
- Opened six new warehouses, expanded five and relocated 12 other existing warehouses for added inventory
- Remodeled 34 stores
- Opened its second-largest distribution center in Ontario, California and its largest distribution center in Braselton, Ga.
- Expanded inventory to allow for cross-border deliveries with Canada
- Opened its third national contact center, creating 500 immediate jobs with the potential for up to 1,000 in Phoenix, Ariz.
