Safelite® Group Continues Focus on Its Company Culture with Promotion of Natalie Crede to Senior Vice President of HR

12-06-2012

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Dec. 6, 2012 - Safelite® Group has promoted Natalie Crede to senior vice president of human resources and leadership development and has appointed her to Safelite’s senior leadership team that is responsible for the strategic business planning of the company.

Crede first joined Safelite® as director of learning and development in 2009 and was promoted to vice president of talent management in 2011. She has been instrumental in shaping Safelite’s talent development and professional learning programs.

As the senior vice president of human resources, Crede’s role will expand from her current talent management responsibilities to include compensation and benefits, shared services, and HR business partners.

“Natalie’s drive to challenge the status quo and ability to motivate and inspire her team has led to numerous successes, including the launch of an effective talent review process, an enhanced performance management platform, a flourishing leadership development program, and an expanded recruiting strategy,” said Tom Feeney, president and CEO of Safelite® Group. “She has played an instrumental role in helping shape the culture of Safelite® as we transform our company, and I thank her for her continued dedication.”

Crede’s career prior to joining Safelite® spans more than 20 years primarily with specialty retailers such as Limited Brands, Victoria’s Secret, Chicos, Lane Bryant and Home Shopping Network. Her areas of focus included shaping and delivering HR strategies to support business performance, talent management, organizational design, change management, and culture shaping.

With this personnel change, Steve Miggo, who was appointed senior vice president of operations and human resources in March 2012, will now focus solely on operations, comprised of field operations, field sales, service delivery, and national/technical training as well as maintaining his influential partnership in Sales Central.

“Steve did a fantastic job of expanding his job responsibilities from overseeing not only HR but also operations and I thank him for his commitment,” Feeney said. “During this time of tremendous growth, we recognize the need to focus on both operations and human resources more acutely and therefore separate the roles.

Under Miggo and Crede’s leadership of HR and talent development the company has earned a number of recognitions, including:

  • 2012 Best in Biz Awards HR Department of the Year, Gold
  • 2012 Columbus CEO HR Excellence Award
  • 2012 Workforce Management Optimas Award
