Safelite AutoGlass Remodels Albuquerque Warehouse
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.– June 29, 2012 – Safelite AutoGlass®, the nation’s largest provider of vehicle glass repair and replacement services, recently expanded and remodeled its Albuquerque SuperCenter located at 8300 Jefferson Street NE, Suite C, offering 30 percent more space, 25 percent more inventory and a 20 percent larger workforce.
The addition of 5,085 square feet to the original 16,620 square feet allows Safelite AutoGlass® to warehouse an additional 6,500 parts as well as expanded service bay areas, which translates to faster appointment availability for customers throughout central and northern New Mexico. The customer waiting area was remodeled and updated to be more visitor-friendly as well.
Greg Joyner serves as the manager, overseeing 46 staff members in Albuquerque, Santa Fe and Farmington and plans to hire more soon thanks to the additional space.
“Customer service is a priority at Safelite AutoGlass®, and this improved facility will not only be a more pleasant place for customers to wait while their vehicle glass work is completed, but also serve as a larger storage area so we have access to parts quicker,” said Joyner. “This will allow even more same-day or next-day service.”
Mobile service remains an alternative option to in-shop service.
