Safelite AutoGlass Relocates Victorville Store
VICTORVILLE, Calif. – May 12, 2011- Safelite AutoGlass®, the nation’s leading provider of vehicle glass repair and replacement services, opened a store at 15375 Anacapa Road, Victorville (92392) at the southwest corner of Park and Anacapa in early May. The new 6,500 square-foot facility will house approximately 900 vehicle glass parts, enabling the company to provide same-day and convenient in-shop appointments in the High Desert area. Customers also will continue to have the option to schedule a mobile appointment.
The relocation of the Victorville store is a part of Safelite’s plan to expand and improve service in Southern California. Since 2009, Safelite® has developed a number of initiatives to provide unrivaled customer service, technical quality, and same-day service for Southern California customers. Safelite’s growth in the Southwest U.S. includes:
• opening its second-largest distribution center in Ontario, Calif., in 2009
• opening its third national contact center in Phoenix, Ariz., in 2010
• opening 10 other new locations throughout Southern California in 2011
• relocating 3 existing Southern California locations to improve customer visibility and waiting areas, glass storage, and employee amenities in 2011
“Moving from our smaller Victorville location to this larger, renovated space is an exciting step toward our goal of improving customer service in the area. Vehicle glass is an important element of a car’s structural integrity, and we are happy to perform inspections to identify any risky chips or provide a quote on glass damage.”
The Safelite® store will be managed by Dan Jones and will have an initial staff of 8 technicians with the goal of hiring more in the near future.
Safelite AutoGlass® also recently renewed its lease at 43403 #A10 10th Street West, Lancaster, which also serves the High Desert area.
