Safelite AutoGlass Opens Store in North Houston
HOUSTON, Tex. – March 7, 2012 – Safelite AutoGlass®, the nation’s largest provider of vehicle glass repair and replacement services, will open a store located at 19285 David Memorial Drive, Suite 200, Shenandoah TX, 77385, on approximately March 12, 2012.
Previously, north Houston was served through Safelite’s mobile technicians. While mobile service is still an option, the new location will allow for more same-day and next-day in-shop service. The 4,500 square-foot facility features an ample waiting area with HDTV cable service and free.
Jodie Gowens will serve as the store manager, overseeing a total of six employees: five technicians, and one service representative. The company plans to hire an additional service representative soon.
“We look forward to continuing to serve the north Houston community for all their vehicle glass repair and replacement needs,” Gowens said. “Few people think about auto glass until they have is serious damage. Small chips or cracks can easily and effectively be filled to restore the windshield’s original structural integrity and prevent further damage. It can be a safe and economical alternative to a full windshield replacement. It only takes about a half hour, and service is available in-shop or at your home/place of business.”
Safelite AutoGlass® customers in the north area of Houston including the cities of Conroe, Woodlands, Spring, Humble and Shenandoah and elsewhere can receive a quote or schedule service 24/7 at safelite.com or by calling 1-800-800-ASAP (2727). Both in-shop and mobile vehicle glass service appointments are available from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
