Safelite AutoGlass New Shop in Elgin, Illinois to Better Serve Local Customers
CHICAGO – Aug. 13, 2013 - Safelite AutoGlass®, the nation’s largest provider of vehicle glass repair and replacement services, recently opened a new store located at 555 N. McLean Blvd., Elgin, IL, 60123, to better provide local customers in the Fox River Valley with same- and next-day in-shop appointments. Mobile appointments remain an option.
The 4,000-square-foot facility can stock more than 300 of the most common windshields and tempered glass parts and offers four full service bays. The customer waiting room is large and comfortable with a big-screen television and complimentary beverages.
Peter Theer serves as the store manager, overseeing four technicians with plans to add several more in the next few years.
Safelite’s newest Chicago-area facility is conveniently located and accessible to customers in Elgin, South Elgin, Sleepy Hollow, Carpentersville, East Dundee, Hoffman Estates, Schaumburg, Streamwood, Hanover Park, Bartlett, Wayne, St. Charles, Valley View, Udina, Pine Grove, and Plato Center. Safelite AutoGlass® also has facilities in Berwyn, Chicago, Crest Hill, Lake In The Hills, Morton Grove, Mundelein, Naperville, Oak Lawn, South Holland and Wood Dale.
