Safelite AutoGlass Moves East Side Tucson Shop to Larger Location
On March 21, 2014, Safelite AutoGlass®, the nation’s largest provider of vehicle glass repair and replacement services, relocated its east side Tucson shop from 7381 E Broadway to 1402 S. Kolb. The 6,122-square-foot facility is more than six times larger, allowing Safelite to double in-stock inventory in order to better serve local customers. The large waiting area will feature WiFi and a children’s play area. Safelite offers four stores in Tucson in addition to mobile service.
Jesus Vega serves as the store manager overseeing five employees with plans to expand to nine.
“We look forward to continuing to serve the Tucson community for all their auto glass repair and replacement needs,” said John Grimaldi, Safelite’s district manager. “Few people think about auto glass until they have serious damage. Small chips or cracks can easily and effectively be filled to restore the windshield’s original structural integrity and prevent further damage. It can be a safe and economical alternative to a full windshield replacement. It only takes about a half hour in our shop.”
