Safelite AutoGlass® in Irvine Donates $1655 to Crime Survivors Nonprofit
IRVINE, Calif. – Aug. 21, 2012 - Safelite AutoGlass®, the nation’s largest provider of vehicle glass repair and replacement services, recently held a fundraiser and open house in honor of www.crimesurvivors.org/page/about-us/, a local nonprofit that helps victims of crime recover from their experience mentally, physically, emotionally, and financially, by receiving the respect, support, and protection from law enforcement, the judicial system, and the community.
In addition to presenting a $1,000 to Crime Survivors, Safelite AutoGlass® was able to raise an additional $655 in raffle sales for a variety of prizes including an HD television, tablet computer, digital camera and more.
The fundraiser happened in conjunction with an official grand opening event to recognize the opening of the new shop, located at 3 Faraday, Irvine, CA 92618, earlier this year. Representatives from the California State Legislature and United States Congress joined in the ribbon-cutting ceremony along with local Safelite® General Manager Drew Carter, Market Manager William Pierce, Area Sales Manager Carol Clift and 11 Irvine employees.
