Last year’s Golf Classic funded six $25,000 Impact Grants and one $50,000 Impact Grant. The $50,000 Impact Grant went to Habitat for Humanity Mid-Ohio in support of the ‘Home of Hope’ Blitz Build in April, which built a home for a family in need in just five days. Other Impact Grant examples include the purchase of passenger vans for the Boys and Girls Clubs and Big Brothers and Big Sisters to support their transportation needs as well as support for the Mid-Ohio Foodbank and LifeCare Alliance in getting healthy meals to those in need.
“I sincerely thank everyone who has made this possible – from our Safelite family that worked so hard to plan the event to our suppliers and business partners who attended and contributed to our cause,” Feeney added.
