Safelite AutoGlass Donates $20,000 to Inland Empire Ronald McDonald House
A caring heart and community involvement are important to leaders at Safelite AutoGlass, which holds an annual Charity Golf Classic to raise money for charitable organizations. Through this event, Safelite AutoGlass is able to donate $20,000 to 10 separate charities, spread across each of its 10 regions. That’s in addition to $175,000 distributed to each of the 10 regions each year for local leaders to support area charitable organizations of their choice.
Our California region selected the newly expanded Inland Empire Ronald McDonald House to receive its $20,000 donation.
Since opening in 1996, the Inland Empire Ronald McDonald House has provided comfort, care and support to children and families in Southern California. Last year, 1,500 families stayed in the house during their time of need, while 800 families were placed in a hotel because of the overwhelming need of the area.

With this impact grant, the Inland Empire Ronald McDonald House will be able to provide 2,000 nightly stays for families staying there.
“We are committed to being involved in our local communities,” said John P., the district leader for Safelite AutoGlass in the Ontario and Bakersfield markets. “It’s rewarding to know that we’re able to help families who are going through a hard time thanks to this donation made possible by our corporate headquarters.”
In addition to the financial contributions the company makes, our employees also worked more than 600 hours of volunteer time and helped facilitate various fundraisers in the Inland Empire.
