How did you get started as a technician? I started working with flat glass and the company I worked for decided they wanted to go into auto glass and chose me to train and certify. I’ve been doing auto glass ever since.
What’s the best thing about being a technician? Working by myself and being mobile. I see new things every day and meet new people every day. It never gets boring.
What’s the most memorable experience you’ve had at Safelite?
This year’s kick-off meeting in the new warehouse, you got to see everything and the comradery was fun.
Do you have a favorite customer experience?
I had a customer one time tell me about his damage. He told me he ran into a horse. It was a small compact car. It was definitely the most strange and funny experience. I’ve seen a lot but never like this.
Outside of work, what are you passionate about?
I’m passionate about family; we go and do things together. We go to Lovelady, TX where I have some land and cows and spend time there.
Just for fun: What’s your dream car?
I’ve always liked Corvettes.
